The replacement filter includes a washable pre-filter screen which captures large particles such as lint, hair, or other large debris, a Nano-Silver shield which captures microscopic particles and helps kill bacteria, and other organisms, a washable carbon active charcoal filter which helps eliminate gasses and odors, as well as chemicals, and the main HEPA Filter Cartridge assembly which captures 99.9% of all airborne allergens as small as .3 microns in size.
