A protective face looks out from this solemn visage carved of sese wood. With its smooth and stately symmetry, this statuette represents a mask from Ghana's Akan tribe. Nana Adu Amankwapam I designs the replica and names it Biakuye (Oneness) to represent the unity of all people.
