Batik vine motifs against a body of azure decorate this card holder from Bali, crafted of cotton and faux leather. Designed by artisan group Bukuku, it folds open to reveal six card slots.Bukuku, an Indonesian word that means my book, is a small community of 5 artisans who work together to produce unique and traditional books and stationery. Some of our members lack an educational background and means of working. We have training programs to improve their standard of living by giving them a proper salary with a joyful place to work. We strive to give them a good life, so that all of their children can go to school and not have to work to help the family, comment the artisans.
