Colorful geometry abounds in this original shoulder bag designed by Monica Almorza. The bag is made by recycling a traditional huipil (blouse) from San Martín Jilotepeque, who include zigzag patterns that symbolize serpents, explains the Guatemalan designer. Trimmed with quality leather, the cotton huipil is woven on a backstrap loom. The beige cotton interior includes a zipper pocket. Almorza completes her design with her trademark collection of traditional items that include a cotton worry doll, a pinewood toucan mask, a colorful pompom, and tassels.
