When we weave diamond patterns we're thinking of how valuable each one of us is, and that we have a great ability to love and so deserve to be loved, confide the women of Alma del Altiplano Association. After centuries of repressing their thoughts and feelings, these women have found their voice through their textile art. The green cotton and rayon blend fabric for the bag is woven on a traditional loom, featuring a brocade of diamonds in iridescent brown, red, black and pale yellow. The messenger bag features an external pocket, as well as another one in the lined interior.
