Crafted by hand in the shape of an armoire, this jewelry cabinet from Peru is presented by Samantha and Ronald, who work together to create beautiful pieces like this. The jewelry cabinet is made from recycled wood, opening at the front with glass-paned doors to reveal an elaborate interior. On the left side, a rotating wheel for necklaces is suspended from the top, with cotton velveteen-lined drawers at the bottom for smaller pieces of jewelry. On the right side are two racks that slide out, with little notches for holding earrings. Featuring hand-painted motifs on the outside, this jewelry armoire is as creative as it is charming. The artisans name the jewelry cabinet Paqari, a Quechua word with great significance, referring to the morning sunrise.
