The ten-string charango was a South American version of the European mandolin, originally crafted from the shell of an armadillo. Benito Tito creates this piece with a relief of the Inti, or Inca sun god sculpted on the back. Displaying a beautiful combination of pinewood, jacaranda wood and congona wood, this lovely handmade instrument features metal and nylon strings. It includes a carrying case of colorful Huancayo-style cloth.
