This petite djembe-style African drum is hand-crafted by Ghanaian artisan Abdul Aziz Mohamadu. He carves the base by hand from tweneboa wood, accenting it with colorful motifs in red, blue, white and black. He names the accent piece ahooden, which means strength in the Akan tongue.
